Frequently asked questions
This sounds so scary but I have a primal urge to try it. Is it dangerous?
Under our axe-pert supervision it is completely safe. As long as you listen to the coaches and obey some basic safety rules, it's just as safe as darts.
Do throwers need to sign a waiver?
Yes a waiver is required by our insurance company.
How do I reserve the trailer?
We make it easy. Drop us an email, text or call!
From small private parties and weddings, as well as large scale corporate events and music festivals!
What do I wear?
Clothing is optional but we ask that no "open toe" shoes or flippy flops be worn.
Dress comfortable and for the weather.
What space requirements are needed?
Our axe throwing trailer requires level ground. It can be pavement, grass or good ol' Georgia red dirt.
The foot print (opened and ready to throw) is approximately 30'x18' when hooked to our vehicle. We prefer it to remain hooked to our vehicle but works either way.
The trailer itself, when opened and ready to throw has a footprint of 15'x18'
Can participants drink beers?
A couple of beers and axe throwing goes surprisingly well together. However, too many beers and axe throwing doesn't! As such, we reserve the right to not allow anyone visibly intoxicated to throw.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, 13 and up.
Anyone under 18 can throw with parental permission. Waivers will be signed by all participants or gaurdians.
How much does it cost to rent the trailer?
More info can be found on our PRICING page.
Keep in mind, we provide at least 1 axe coach for every rental. They are there to help you learn to throw and make sure everyone stays safe.
For private parties and corporate events, we charge by the hour. Your guests are welcome to have as many throws/games as they wish during the rental time.
There is a minimum of 2 hours.
You don't have to use all of the 2 hours, but we do charge the 2 hour minimum. This helps us with the transportation, set-up, time and take down.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, & AMEX. We can send an invoice, or we can swipe your card in person.
We also accept cash payments (and prefer it).
We accept payments through the CASH APP and VENMO
We accept checks for corporate rentals. This must be approved and arranged prior to the rental.
Do you donate the trailer and axe coaches "free of cost" for fundraisers?
No we don't.
We actually receive a ton of request for this but we are set up as a "For Profit" business and we do not send the trailer and axe coaches to fundraising events for free. If we did, we couldn't stay afloat.
Insurance on the trailer is very high, maintenance and target replacement adds up, gas, wear and tear on the truck, paying the coaches for their time - it's expensive.
What's the cancellation policy?
So the problem with short notice cancellations is they hurt us. Short notice cancellations cause us to have an empty booking that was previously spoken for. Not cool. But we understand things happen so here is our policy:
Cancellations made MORE than 5 days (120 hours) in advance: Your payment will be fully refunded. (minus a $25 processing fee)
Cancellation made LESS than 5 days in advance: Your payment (or deposit) will be forfeited
